Depression is anger turned inward. It comes out of frustration, out of bad things that have happened to us, out of the collisions that each of us have with the world.
Through those painful collisions, the very passion for life that is a part of the human spirit can become turned against us, become destructive. Yet there is a way to recover and release that natural passion for life - to overcome the world and become a new creation, not locked into misery.
