"For my thoughts are not your thoughts and my ways are not your ways"
    The prophet Isaiah

To overcome our anger, we must surrender it; not surrender to it.
To overcome our anger, we must surrender it; not surrender to it.

  The Way Out

But, am I beyond help?

Depression is anger turned inward. It comes out of frustration, out of bad things that have happened to us, out of the collisions that each of us have with the world.

Through those painful collisions, the very passion for life that is a part of the human spirit can become turned against us, become destructive. Yet there is a way to recover and release that natural passion for life - to overcome the world and become a new creation, not locked into misery.

An extreme solution for an extreme problem from an extreme God who suffered the most extreme betrayal, humiliation, shame and physical agony.

Why? So He could understand you and help you in your suffering - to give you hope.

He collided with this world. Physically he was destroyed by it. Yet, He won a victory, a victory that was for you, that you can share - if you will look beyond yourself and your anger and doubt.

But:
God is dead!

Many will offer you ways to paper over the cracks, including through religion. But there is a better way.

But:
My need is now

Open the door to revelation

"See, I have set before you an open door"
Revelation of St John

Before you lose the ability to do so, make two big choices.
Choose to listen and choose to care.  About yourself, and about others.
